Aaron Mullins Obituary

News Death Notice

MULLINS, Aaron Mathew Born April 25, 1984 went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, August 30, 2008. Aaron lived a short 24 years, although each day was filled with living out his dreams with the love and support of his family and friends. He started his own business and was in the process of opening a second store for his sister. He loved to ride his bikes and play his guitars. He was a young successful man. He could have had anything he wanted, but he was happy with just the few things he had. He chose to provide for his family and to get them the things they wanted, rather than for himself. He cared for his mother during her illness. He and his sister were very close being only two years apart. He raised his niece and nephew as his own. He was and is his Father's best friend. They were two of a kind. He was loved and admired by his family and friends. Through all our sorrow of such a large lost. We know that he'll continue to be by our sides along with his Father and ours. Loved with all our hearts, his family. He is survived by his parents, Gary Lee and Jacqueline Mullins of Eaton; a sister, Andrea Mullins; a niece, Tatum Durbin; a nephew, Ashton Durbin; aunts, Loretta Cook of Trenton, Terri (husband, Danny) King of Middletown, Roxanne (husband, Greg) Porter of Middletown, Tina Holly of Kenova, West Virginia; uncle, Edward Mullins of Lebanon; and numerous cousins, family and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Roxanne Porter officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.

There are no words to express the shock, and sadness our family felt when we heard Aaron had passed away. There were so many occasions when your business saved our family from crisis. We are so thankful for your help and kindness. We were so suprised and saddened by the news. Aaron was generous with his time and knowledge. Everytime my little girl would come in to the store he would always make time to chat with her, bless his heart.
The last time I saw him I was standing at the counter and a pretty girl came in, and he was flirting with her. After she left I teased him about it, and he blushed and flashed a boyish grin.
You have so much to be proud of. Our family will remember your sons kindness, generousity, and humor.
THis is such a tragic situation. There are no words to express the loss to our small community.
Tonight one star in the heavens shines brighter then the rest. May God keep your family in the palm of his hand. God Bless your family.

Dear Gary and Jackie,
We just heard the news of the passing of Aaron and we are so sorry and still can not believe it. Going to work at T&M Taxes is not going to be the same any more. I will miss seeing Aaron, his nice and warm smile. He was so kind... he would always offer to help me carry my files when he would see me with my hands full. I consider Aaron a co-worker, a neighbor, a kind young man with a big heart and big dreams that loved his dad and family.
I will miss him always.
Please call us if you need anything.
We are going to be praying for you.
Love,
Tim and Maritza Powell

Aaron, just like our tattoos said,
"Brothers Always". you will always be there in spirit, when I play my guitar, when i am fishing, riding my harley, taking trips, going to the shooting range, long nites writing songs and sharing memories, the Appalachian mountains of our Irish heritage we so enjoyed. like all these things we did together, the memories will live forever in my heart. I loved you as my brother.

Dear Gary, Jackie & Family, We are so sorry for your loss - there truly aren't words that could say how deeply sorry we are. Do know that the peace of The Lord can and will be with you through this and forever - He wants to comfort you! Your son is with Him - I pray you have peace in knowing that. We will continue to lift you up to The Lord in prayer.

Mr. and Mrs. Mullins,
I know no words could ease your pain. No hugs or tears could make this go away. But you can know that your so was loved by everyone he knew. I will miss his smiling face, his little boy giggle, and his honest and kind words when things were rough.

I'm so grateful we stopped by the shop that Tuesday so I could see him just being Aaron one last time.

You all are in my thoughts...
