BEAHAN, Barry L. Age 57 of Hamilton died July 2, 2006 at5:45 p.m. in the Vitas Hospice Unit at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born October 5, 1948 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania the son of William and Thelma (Porta) Beahan. He received a BA degree in Economics from Penn State and his Masters degree from Xavier University in Criminal Justice. He was employed as an Adult Probation Officer for Butler County for 23 years. He is survived by two daughters, Heather Beahan and Angie Carpenter and husband, Mike all of Hamilton; his mother, Thelma Kopas (Reggie Palowski) of Nicktown, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Taylor Beahan Polly and Kameron Carpenter; his former wife, of fourteen years, Shirley Wiant of Hamilton; his former son-in-law, Brian Polly of Oxford; two brothers, Clifford Beahan and wife Shannon of Ebansburg, Pennsylvania and Joseph Kopas and wife, Cheryl of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a sister, Joan Kopas of Nicktown; Aunt, Sally Beatty of Tampa, Florida and Uncle, Robert Beahan of England and his best friend, Vince Jolivette of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his father, William Beahan and his step father, Peter Kopas. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd with Vitas Chaplain, Father Larry Yanca officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, P.
