News Death Notice

ARTHUR, Beulah M. age 83, of Hamilton, passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. She was born in Butler County on November 24, 1925 the daughter of Arthur and Dovie (McKinney) Cox. Beulah was a retired employee of Fifth Third Bank and former employee of Champion Paper. She enjoyed caring for her home and yard, wallpapering, and baby sitting for friends. Beulah was an active member of Millville Ave. Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years. She was married to Floyd Arthur, Jr. for 30 years. She is survived by her sister, Betty (Fred) Winkler of Hamilton; her niece, Kathy Rae Perry; two great-nieces, Sara Perry and Stephanie Perry; a great-nephew, Jason Perry, all of Nashville, Georgia; very dear friend, Polly Rogers; and her church family at Millville Avenue Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gola Cox. Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Cattran officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Road, Cincinnati 45243. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Southwest Ohio, especially Susan, Tracy, and Kim, and to Birchwood Care Center, including nurses Kim and Kathy, the aides, and especially Sheila, the receptionist. www.browndawson.com

We loved you and will miss you! You were a wonderful sister-in-law and aunt. We shared many wonderful times together as a family, and have great memories. You were truly a LADY!
