To Boogie's family I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss. I know personally the loss of loved ones unfortunately too much. May God take away the pain that aches in all of your hearts. My deepest sympathy goes out to Nancy. I saw first hand the love you two shared. It meant so much that you two were there when I got engaged and married in Put in Bay. I can only hope to have the same kind of caring that was with you two in your home for the past 10yrs. May God strengthen you from this loss & help you to move one. All my love to you.

To all of my extended Family,
Its been a rough journey and will continue to be without Brian in our lives. Elijah and myself will hold close to our hearts the memories that we created, Boogie was one of a kind!. I wanted to tell you Marchita, Grady that I will always consider you as my in-laws, you have taken us in as one of the Family and everyone has showed us love beyond measure. I will always be there for you both when ever you are in need. Brian was to me the very air that I breathed, and means much much more to us than a Friend, he loved & watched over us as his own and I'm forever greatful to have him in our lives.
To all the Family who knew what Brian and I shared, I thank you for all your words of condolences and encouragement. We will continue to be a part of your lives and as one of the Bryant/Calhoun/Alexander/Shields/Maxwell/Ringer,etc, etc, "FAMILY"

With Deapest Sympathy & Love,

Boogie, It's still a nightmare,I keep waiting for you to come home at night. I hear a sound and I think it's you coming home to me! I guess after coming home to me for 10 years, it's going to take me some time to wake up from this nightmare. Bubba (Sweetie) misses you, she looks for you every day.
I have discovered alot of things since you've gone to God, but the one thing I know..you loved me..and I love you!!

Love You and Miss YOU so very, very much..

I recently lost my father and I know what you are going through.
I am so sorry to hear about your

in our prayers always and remember
to keep us in yours. There isn't a
day that goes by since my dad passed on April 1st that I do not think about him, so stay strong and know that God needed my father
and "Boogie" more in heaven than we
needed them here. They were the "chosen" ones for now, and we will meet up with them again. Stay blessed and keep the faith!!!!!

To the Bryant/Calhoun family: our hearts go out to you as you cope with the loss of your loved one. As our time on this earth is limited, we must be diligent to do all and say all that we can to show our love before our 'dears' before they are departed. "Boogie" was a good person and we loved him like the brother he was. God has him now, resting in the bosom of love. We will all be reunited in time. Be blessed and stay saved.

Kita, Dae Dae, Mimi and the entire family, Please accept my apologies for not attending the services. God’s speed in your bereavement .While “Boggie’s” death can be viewed as tragic and untimely, in this the most somber of times, we must not question the wisdom of the Lord. Through faith in Christ we are righteous to the kingdom of heaven. I grew up with Boggie, Dae Dae and Mi Mi, with Mam and Kita keeping a watchful eye on us. As I look back, it was the greatest of times. Over the years I’ve lost touch with the family, except one (Boogie). Anytime Bryan would call I would answer, I truly enjoyed watching Boggie grow into Bryan. This is a great loss. I send my prayers and love to you all. I am grateful to have known this wonderful man.

Cuz, Man I cant sleep. My heart is heavy. I know it's selfish of me. But the memories, the LAUGHTER and the talks we shared. You became that lil brother that looked out for me. Remember we used to bounce from my parents house to Maam's house? We played cards and basketball together. Had to be on the same team or we wouldnt allow the game to even start.. LOL!!!! Lord Jesus do you remember me teaching you how to drive my (stick) red Honda Prelude? The transmission was never the same...Well Boogie, you will be missed, but I do know TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY, I KNOW YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD! Kita, Grady and my Bryant Family. I Love you!

****Boogie**** We came to see you today not to say goodbye but to say how much we love you and appreciate you, we will see you again.I just had to give not my last word b/c I will visit you in my heart daily, but just a final memo. Brian we did our growing up together on Kunz, You, Dayday, Leslie and the rest of the "Kunz Kidz" boy did we have the best of times. We didnt know it then that some day we would cross paths on a whole other note!! I gotta say at first I knew you as the silly boy that I grew up with, I had my doubts but I took that chance and from that point on, well everyone knows the story!!. No matter what came our way that tried to rock our boat we managed thru it. I will be a better person because of you and my son as well, he really looked up to you because you were there when no one else was for him. As for myself I know I will be strong b/c you are my inspiration, I didnt get a chance to tell you but YOU WERE THE WIND BENETH MY WINGS. I went to your parents home after your service and stayed till the end, not really sure what to do with myself, all the Family and friends told me to be strong and I would get thru it, but Brian I gotta say its really going to be hard for everything that we did, which was a lot, will remind me of you, the trip to Florida and every where else I enjoyed our time together. I sit here and think back and I wouldnt change a single thing about our relationship, you were my best friend,my shadow,my all and all,my strength,my everything that was great in my life and no person will change that. I can hear you calling me "Tee, come rub my back!" and get mad at me when I would stop when my arms tired out! :) Im gonna miss that! Well its late now the day has been a long one, but a good one since I know you are with loved ones but most of all with God himslef. I send my love up to Heaven and blow a kiss out to the stars! I will never forget you in my life and NEVER stop loving you! I wont understand why God took you in his arms but he has the master plan, we may not get want we want but we get what we need, and Elijah and my need was to have you in our lives. We only had you for a season, but you will grow in our hearts and spirits forever. I look towards the hills for which my help comes and hold on to Gods unchanging hand. He will guide me back to you once again and we will rejoice. I now live my life for you and will carry you where ever I go. I will make sure to watch over Momma Keeta and Daddy Grady for you and make sure Elijah and Aaron turn out to be a great man like yourself!

My eyes are on the Sparrow!

Lovingly yours,

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

man....it's hard to say in words how much i'll miss you. we really never did understand each other or liked each other for that fact lol. i guess we just got off on the wrong foot, but over the years i've grown to love you. i cant even explain how much i cared about you, i didnt just think of you as my mom's boyfriend to me you were like a father figure, even more. The one true thing that i loved about you most was that you kept it real with me. Everyone else sugar coated everything with me but you kept it real and that's what helped me grown into the man i am now. If was wanst good enough, strong enough, smart enough you told me the truth but you also was there to help me. and i think that's what i loved about you most. Im going to miss all the things we did together and sadly saying this i dont know how my life's going to be without you in it. but i would say this, i remeber you took me, aaron, and my mom to the reds baseball game hahahahaha remember that. you almost fought a homless guy because you wouldnt give him any change to get drunk hahahahahaha man that's what im going to miss about you most. your sense of humor was the best quality you had. im just stoping by to tell you how much i loved you and that i know your watching over me. oh yeah i finally got accepted in to college. kentucky state =] i know you would be proud of me! i cant belive your gone, we were just talking about it sunday what if i never got accepted and what would i do? well now i dont have to worry about that, i just want you to know im going to college to make myself a better being and a man for you and family.

-love always Elijah

I went to middle school with Boogie for only two years many, many years ago. As just a pre-teen, Brian left such a great impression on me as being ornery as all get out yet so well-mannered at the same time! Just last year I ran into him again and he sold me my new car at Guyler. We became close for awhile at that point and I will never forget the time I got to spend with him before his untimely passing. My heart goes out to the many other people who love Boogie, as we all will miss him so very much.

To the Bryant Family.

I know that there are no words to comfort you at this time. I will always remember "Boogie" from Damons while playing Tuesday night trivia. I know that he will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you.

Boogie will always be remembered as a loving, caring young man; one who always had a joke to tell. He carried a contagious, beautiful smile and loved having a good time. We have all the wonderful memories that we'll hold dear to our hearts from Pee-Wee days, and I know he and MAM and Grandma and Grandpa Calhoun will walk around heaven all day! May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. We love you and will pray with and for you during this difficult period.
