Christopher BRINKMAN Obituary
News Death Notice
BRINKMAN, Christopher W. Age 64 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born June 7, 1950 in Hamilton the son of Mary (Durbin) Brinkman and the late Gregory Brinkman. Chris held college degrees from Northeast Oklahoma University, where he played football and Bowling Green State University. He is survived by his mother Mary Brinkman; two sons Matt Brinkman and Luke Brinkman, and his four siblings Tina (Steve) Asher, Spark (Sally) Brinkman, Marie (Tom) Weable, and Duke (Nancy) Brinkman. Chris was also preceded in death by his brother David (and wife Sherry) Brinkman and his nephews David Brinkman, Jr., Adam Brinkman, and Greg Brinkman. A memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday December 20, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, Hamilton. Dear Duke, Marie, and family
Its been way too many years since I saw Chris but know that he had such a positive influence on me as a young man (along with Duke of course), training and mentoring me as we lifted weights together. He spent countless hours with me and, since I did not have a Father in my life, truly modeled how a Christian man should carry himself. He had such a big heart and we had so many good times together. I am certain he is smiling down on all of us and is sharing the blessings of a peaceful life with his Lord. I pray the God will bring you peace and comfort very soon.

I am shocked at this totally unexpected news. Chris was such a good friend from high school and many hours lifting weights in his Dad's house back in the late 1960s. Chris was asked to be best man at my wedding and I was in his wedding in 1976. He will be missed in my heart and pray for his Mom and brothers.
