DRUMMOND, Christopher L. Christopher L. Drummond, age 19, of Ross Township, passed away Monday July 4, 2011 at University Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1991 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Gary Drummond and Sheila Johnson. Chris was a 2010 graduate of Ross High School where he enjoyed being a part of the tech prep engineering and design program. He was currently employed as a cashier at Meijer. He is survived by his parents; one sister, Carissa Drummond; his grandmother Debbie Johnson; four aunts, Sherry Villalobos, Shelley Balser, Sheryl Bills, and Tammy Schoenbachler; and other loving relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Gary and Ann Drummond and Eddie Johnson. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial following in Venice Cemetery in Ross. If desired, memorials may be made to the Christopher Drummond Memorial Fund at any 5/3 Bank. www.charlesyoungfuneralhome.com

I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Meijer. He was such a nice kid and I was always happy to see him as a bagger(then shortly after as a cashier) on my shift. He was not only well liked by the employees, but by the customers too. He will be missed greatly at our store. May your family and friends find comfort and may you Rest in Peace, Chris.
