I was so sorry to read of Clarence's passing. He was a such wonderful man and major part of my childhood. I have such fond memories of him back when he owned the Village Carry-Out in Hunter. As a child in the 70's my friend Donna & I went there every day, sometimes twice. Straight off the school bus over to see Clarence and buy penny candy! We would torment him with our indecisiveness as to what variety we wanted! lol! One day I dropped my can of pop on the ground and when I opened it it sprayed all over his brand new Cadillac! He kept his cars spotless so he was not happy about this at all! He chased us all the way down the road waving his fist saying Donna, Lisa! Get back here and clean this up! haha! We just loved him! I am praying for God's comfort for your family during this very difficult time.
