News Death Notice
DANIELS, Curtis Scott Age 23, of Hamilton, OH, went HOME to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Curtis officially became a part of the Daniels family on April 24, 1995 at the age of 7. He was a joyful, loving child whose favorite place was home. Curtis graduated from Edgewood High School and Butler Tech in 2007. He was employed at Valvoline in Bridgewater Falls. Curtis is survived by his "Mama" Paula Venable of Trenton, his Dad Matthew Daniels of Anderson, his beloved brother Mark Matthew Daniels and Mark's fiancée Kristina Clough of Hamilton. Curtis also leaves behind his "Pappah" James Venable, Grandfather William Daniels Sr., aunts and uncles Mark Venable, Mike Venable, Jo Thomas, Patsy Turman, Ann Wiggins, Tamara Smack, Charity Hargett, Michelle Decker, Sarah Daniels, Nathan Daniels, Jonathan Daniels, Tim Daniels, and Greg Daniels. He will be lovingly remembered by his birth family, Lucy "Sissy" Bicknell, Rose Stang, Wave Lynch, and namesake Curtis Ray Lainhart. Curtis will be greatly missed by many cousins and friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his "Mammah" Pauline Venable, grandmother Joy Daniels, uncle Bill Daniels, Jr., birth grandparents Odell and Grace Lainhart and birth father Mark Lainhart. A Celebration of Curtis' Life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:00 pm with a 2:00 visitation at the Immanuel Baptist Church 1770 Eaton Rd. hill Hamilton, OH. The service will be led by Pastor Joe Tassell of Immanuel Baptist Church and Pastor Ron Bicknell of the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church. A family graveside service will be held at the Venable Family Cemetery in Owsley County, Kentucky at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Daniels Brothers Benefit Account at 5th/3rd bank. The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. curtis,...wow buddy i cant believe this man,tredway was the first one to tell me and it was like someone hit me with a load of bricks, i didnt know what to say, and i still dont, and mark man im so so sorry man,and i know nothing i can say can make it feel better, but i just wanted you to know that curtis will be deeply missed man, and god must have some awesome plans for curtis, he probably wants him to rule his army,curtis would love that,i just want you to know he was a very honest, and funny, and all around good man,and a good friend, and i will give anyone a free tattoo as long as its for curtis,to keep him with us forever, just call me buddy 513-737-2612, and i'm gonna go pour out a 40 oz. just for curtis, because he would want us todo that man,

Daniels family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was Curtis's fifth grade teacher many years ago. His class was the first one of my teaching career and I still remember his bright smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I haven't seen Curtis for sometime but my memories of him will always be of his HUGE boyish smile & blonde hair. He was like sunshine with legs - always beaming. He loved going to church & hanging out with the older teens.
I imagine Curtis is before the throne of God right now experiencing a love that surpasses all understanding & looking up at Him & flashing that HUGE boyish smile.
May God comfort you Paula, Mark & family. We are sorry for your loss.

Curtis was my second cousin though I moved away from Hamilton in 1982 I still loved him and Mark.
To all of the families please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy. I will keep you all in prayer.
I can't come to the services but just know I am heartsick about this and please try to keep the faith that God will always help you during this very difficult time.

I knew Curtis many years ago, he was a good friend of my daughter. Curtis was a wonderful person full of life and always had a smile on his face. He will always be remembered -

I am so sorry for lost of your loved one.
My Wife also lost a Son; He was 26 years, He would have been 33 years old this year.
There is not a day goes by that we don’t miss Him.
But by the Grace of God we will see Him again and by the Grace of God we can make it.
