ECKMAN, Daniel Eugene Age 49, of Hamilton passed away on Monday, November 22, 2004 at 7:15 a.m. He was born on March 15, 1955, the son of Elder Kelly Eckman Jr. and Louise (Sullivan) Eckman. Daniel received an Associates Degree in Metallurgy from Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York. He was a Quality Assurance Manager at Advance Fastener, Incorporated of Fairfield for the past five and a half years. Daniel was a member of Amvets Post #1983, the Monkey Mutual Aid Society of Hamilton, and Trinity Episcopal Church. He was a very active coach for Miami Little League girls softball division. On June 29, 1985, in Buffalo, New York he married Grace Marie Cardinale. Daniel was unrelentlessly devoted to his wife and children and took an active interest in his children's schooling. He touched the lives of many people, and will be sadly missed by all of them. He is survived by his wife, Grace Marie Eckman of Hamilton; one son, DJ Eckman, Jr.; one daughter, Ashley Eckman; his mother, Louise Eckman of Fairhope, Alabama; and one sister, Patricia (Robert) Perwak of South Deerfield, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his father and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, November 27, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Daggett, Pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully declined.
