Deanna Eckman

Deanna Eckman of Florence, age 43, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the University of Cincinnati. She was born in Covington, KY on April 11, 1982. Deanna spent a lot of her time outdoors. She loved to go fishing and camping. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Deanna is remembered for her spunky and spontaneous personality. She easily lit up a room with her sense of humor and loving demeanor. Many consider her a "mother to all" as she generously cared for anyone who needed love, especially children. Deanna will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dale Marie {Wilson} Eckman.

Survivors include her loving children, Hunter (Mariah) Freeman and Fischer Freeman; beloved granddaughter, Delilah Freeman; her father, Rodney "Rod" Eckman; siblings, Darby (Hutch) Purvis and Dwight (Cynthia) Eckman; 7 nieces and nephews, Dominic, Sydney, Amelia, Tucker, Camden, Wyatt, and Rhett; her sweet dogs, Bolt and Buster; as well as many other friends and relatives who will cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
