Thomas M. "Tom" Eckman Sr.

Thomas M. Eckman Sr. 73, of South Haven passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025. Born on April 14, 1952 in Libertyville IL to Norbert and Jeannette Eckman.

Tom is survived by his son Thomas (Claudia) Eckman Jr., grandchildren; Cali, Khloey, Kimberly and siblings; James Eckman, Grace Johnson, Phillip Eckman, Karen Molina, John Eckman, Paul Eckman and Jenne Johnson.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister Stella Butrick.

Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving father, son, grandfather and godfather to David Johnson. A huge Michigan fan, Chicago White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. Tom loved the beach and was a professional frisbee player. Most of all Tom loved his family. He loved watching videos of his grand daughters playing basketball. He also loved his dog Oscar and his cat Jersey. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Visitation for Tom will be held Wednesday December 17, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
