News Death Notice

FAGIN, Danny J. Age 48, of Amelia, passed away on July 15, 2013 in Oxford, Ohio. He was born November 25, 1964 in Hamilton, Ohio, to Neil G. and Billie Jo Fagin. Dan was a 1983 graduate of Union County High School in Liberty, Indiana, and attended Miami University for a fine arts degree. He was a prolific and accomplished sculptor and artist. He created many works during his lifetime, including a tactile installation piece for the blind at the Children's Museum in Cincinnati. As a token of his deep gratitude for the care he received, he donated artwork to the Radiation Unit at the UC Barrett Cancer Center in Cincinnati. He is survived by his parents, Neil and Billie Jo Fagin, his girlfriend, Kerry, his sister Laurie Rosenberger (David), his brothers, Jess Fagin, Jay Fagin (Brenda), and Casey Fagin (Patricia); also his nieces and nephews, Heather Nigg (Clint), Jennie Fagin Spurlock, Thomas Fagin, Virginia Fagin, Chelsie Lynch (Austin), Chase Fagin, Jessica Offill (Travis), Kyle Fagin, Maria Fagin, Lauren Fagin, Alex Rosenberger, Rob Rosenberger, his many great-nieces and great-nephews, and aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Zehler. Private services were held at the convenience of the family with burial in Collinsville Cemetery in Butler County, Ohio.
