BOWMAN, Donald Lee Age 70 died at 7:50 am Thursday, March 9,2006 at his home at Middletown, Ohio. He was born in Lima Ohio on September 25, 1935 to Barton and June (Walters) Bowman and they preceded him in death. He married Athlene Kern and she survives in Middletown. Other survivors include 2 sons, Bart (and fiancee, Julie Neu) Elida, Dana (Deb) Bowman, Lima; a daughter, Kim (and fiance Randy Paxton) Rosell, Lima; 2 step daughters, Brenda (David) Napier, Mt Sterling, KY, Linda (Johnny) Adkins, Means, KY; 2 brothers, Garry (Linda) Bowman, Waynesfield, Joe (Marcia) Bowman, St. Marys; 1 sister, Betty (Stan) CorreIlo, Venice FL; 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 Step great grandchildren. He was preceded by a daughter, Denice Bowman and a brother, Larry Bowman. Donald was a graduate of Waynesfield High School and was a member of the Dixie Highway Christian Center, Middletown. He was a member of the Wayne Lodge 569 F&AM, Waynesfield, and a former Wayne Twp. Volunteer Fire Department member. He retired from The Ford Motor Co. with over 25 years of service, starting in Lima then at the Sharonville Plant. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield with Pastors Dave Bowling and Forest E. Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery, Waynesfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday and one hour before services Tuesday.
