I am so very sorry to hear about Dwana. She was a good friend in school. I also attended school with her brother, Mark. I know they will be reunited in Heaven. I am sure your family will greatly miss her. I know you have the promise of being re-united with her in Heaven one day. You will be in my prayers.

God Bless.

Cody,Brandon and Ronnie
I'm sure the three of you know how special your mom was. To me, she became one of the sisters I never had.
I never have to worry about having a Guardian Angel now because I know she will watch over me daily and see that all is well in my life. You have no clue how special the bond between me, Pam and your Mom were. Please know that I am always available to the 3 of you and your families. I am going to have a real hard time getting ready to go watch Centerline knowing that
she will not be going along. We were the Kiatta Girls. I will miss your Mom more than you can know.

Dwana and I were friends many years ago, but she has always kept a place in my heart. We met when she and Kenny were together and while we both were working at Ohio Casualty. She and I shared many things in common and spent a lot of time together when she was dating Kenny.

We both lost our Moms at a young age and shared that grief with one another as well as other things. We too knew, as you boys will, how hard it is to live life without your Mom here. No one is like your Mom and you will miss her every day, no matter how much time goes by. Always remember that she is with you, that you were the light of her young life, and as long as she is in your heart, she will be with you everyday. She will see everything that you want her to see and be a part of everything you want her to be.

We had some very happy times and I will always treasure those memories. I will always remember her and love her. I'm sorry I didn't know of her illness...I would have loved to have seen her before she passed away.

May God give you comfort in your time of sorrow.

Love,
Lisa Daugherty Wright

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Cody, Brandon and Ronnie. I want you all to know that you were a part of our family for years and this doesnt stop here. Grandma, my dad and I may not be in your face day in and day out but we are just a phone call away always. I loved your mom since I was a teen and Uncle Billy. Cody you are the youngest and the impact from losing both parents at such a young age will be hard to understand and deal with and you may not feel the complete loss yet. It may be days, months and years. Just know we are here and we will always be. We love you.
