She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rev. Alvin L. Rev. Richardson, Sandy & Family:
Our condolences & prayers go out to you all. We learned about Sis. Eleanor's passing late and are so sorry we did not make it to the homegoing service. I hear her singing "The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow," which always lifted my spirit whenever she sang it. God bless you all and may He keep you in perfect peace!!

Alvin:

Janie and I are so saddened to learn, belatedly, about the passing of your beloved wife and our beloved Friend and Sister. As you know, you were my "father" in the ministry, and I always thought of Eleanor as my "Big Sister" in the Lord. Be comforted by the knowledge that she was a Faithful Warrior and know that she is at peace with the Lord!

Love and Prayers,

Rev. & Mrs. Arthur (Janie) Darien
Pastor, Gardendale Community Baptist Church

Rev. Richardson:

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Sis. Richardson. It seems even now that I can hear her playfully saying "Rev. Span, I am going to whip you". She will be missed I am sure.

To the Richardson Family. I was shocked to hear of Eleanor's passing as I missed it in the paper and did not hear of it until Wednesday, Dec. 2. I loved Mrs. Richardson and love you Rev. Richardson. You were my Pastors when I received Christ as my Lord and Saviour and were so instrumental for my instruction in Godliness and Holiness and for that I am forever grateful. I love you all and will dearly miss Mrs. Richardson's encouraging words and hugs. Mr. Alvin...you are in my prayers and I love and appreciate you. Mrs. Richardson will be sorely missed.

Love always,
Carol Christopher and Justin Flowers (Hooks)
