Dear Family~
We have great, recent memories of Uncle Emil while in Des Moines, attending our dad's funeral. We remember sitting around the table enjoying the stories and memories he shared with Dad and our family. He seemed to constantly have a smile on his face as he spoke.
We share in your sorrow and look forward to the day when we can all be together again - where there won't be any loss, tears or pain. May God comfort you and keep you close to His heart during this difficult time.

Bill and Denny,
What a great Dad you had: unselfish, warm heart, caring and kind, a man of principle and integrity. I remember the gentle teasing he gave me when He was a teen and I was 4 and onward, but I loved it. I remember well him milking the cows while sitting on those 1-legged Swiss stools and occasionally squirting a stream of milk into the cats' mouths as he milked and sang to the cows. What an uncle!! Oh yes! I will miss him too.

So sad to hear about Uncle Emil. He and Aunt Wanda were always so kind and loving, and I always looked forward to being able to visit with them when we were in Hamilton. He will be sorely missed.

Our sympathy to the family of Emil. We so enjoyed talking to him when we came for visits with Denny and Nancy. We will always remember when we shared dinner with him at a restaurant just a couple of weeks ago. He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful family man. He will now be with his beloved wife Wanda that he so sorely missed.
