News Death Notice
PENDLETON, Esther L. (Rotroff) age 95, of Hunter, OH; passed away on Saturday June 5, 2010 at the Springhill of Middletown. Esther was born in Hillsboro, OH on October 23, 1914 to Jerry Allen and Anna (Landes) Rotroff. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and loved her family especially the grandchildren, great grandchildren and the great great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years M. L. Pendleton, and her brother William Rotroff of Hillsboro, OH, and her parents. She is survived by a daughter Joyce A. Kolb of Middletown; a son Craig "Rick" Pendleton and wife Nancy of Franklin; a son John Keith Pendleton and wife Pat of Brooksville, FL; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a personal thank you to Dr. Omer Hurlbert III, the staff and caregivers of Springhill, and Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties. Arrangements are to be conducted at the convenience of the family. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to send an on line condolence.
