News Death Notice
HURST, Gary P. Age 64 of Hamilton passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home. He was born August 24, 1946 in Jackson County, KY, the son of Farris and Freda (Strong) Hurst. Gary was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #501 in Middletown and the Potbelly Pigs Riders Group. Gary worked at General Electric until his retirement in 2002. He leaves behind his children, Aneesa Barnes of Seven Mile and Steven Paul Hurst of Hamilton; grandson, Austin Barnes; and brothers, Jack Hurst of Lexington, KY, Gerald Hurst of Tyner, KY and Donald Hurst of Tyner, KY. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. A Wake of Celebration will be held 2 p.m. - until close, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Williamsdale Inn, 3613 Trenton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011. Everyone is welcome! Memorial contributions may be made at the Wake. The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield is serving the family.
