I am (I find it hard to say: was) a colleague of Gary from the J&J Change Management Team. I only got to know him better in the last couple of months, due to differences in time zones. It became obvious that he was a very caring man who loved his family and children to bits. Only now I get to know how geat he was in so many other things and inspiring to so many other people.Im glad I got to know him at least a bit better. He is missed by our team.

Mary and all,

Gary was my best friend growing up from about the sixth grade until after college when he went back east and we disapeared into our own families for unknown reasons?

We were couragous and adventurous, in everything from high tech racing bicycles, Hobie Cat Sailing, early computer science, and every kind of math and technology. We worked hard all summer after high school, sold his Nova and enrolled in our first year of college at BYU Hawaii. There we mastered body surfing, Scuba Instructor Certifications, algebra, trigonometry, and a desire to serve missions.

He is and will be my best friend even though we did not keep better track of each other. I have some old photos and great memories to share whenever you are ready...

Love -

Tim Bodell
