Mr. Turnbull was a fun, lively, vibrant soul. He was a dear friend to much of my family, especially my grandparents the Becketts, as well as my mom Emily Reed. I remember him from the D Street days, then seeing him at the Coach House many times while dining there with my grandma. I am so sad he is gone. Love to all his family.

I know George Turnbull will be missed by his community and circle of family and friends. He dearly loved his family.
I will never forget Erik Jaeger at age 13, telling me to leave whole bills instead of change for tips. That is what his Grandpa taught him to do.
George was very generous and always interested in others.
My sincerest sympathy to his family. May fond memories always be with you.

I will miss Mr. Turnbull very much. I will miss him visiting me at the front desk at Berkeley Square. He would come to the front desk, kiss my hand, and ask me, "what's new?" He would tell me all the different places he would go to eat. I will never forget our conversation about how he used to read poems at Tea parties when he was young. He recited his favorite....what a great memory. I will miss him very much. He was such a wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to his family.

We miss you Grandpa! May God hold you in the palm of his hand, just as you prayed for Heidi with us in the NICU. We know your positive thoughts and praise of her have and will continue to help her to become the intelligent, outgoing, creative little girl honored to learn to drive the scooter with the best Great Grandpa! We already miss our Sunday dinners and nightly telephone updates. Here's one last "monkey face" for you! ~* *~
We love you!

Steve & I met George at the Coach House Restaurant last year & sat next to him often. We really enjoyed seeing him at 6:15 p.m. when we were dining at the same time. We will sure miss George, what a wonderful gentleman. We sat at George's table on 9-10-2009 in his honor & to remember George.
With our deepest sympathies,
