News Death Notice

LOCKABY, Harry Lee age 75, of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Sunday, March 24, 2013. He was born in London, KY on December 10, 1937 to Robert and Cora (Campbell) Lockaby. Harry was retired from Pease Industries. He was a member of the Kentucky Colonels. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Lockaby; a daughter, Vikki Lockaby; two sons, Randy (Freida) Lockaby, and Rodney Lockaby; 3 grandchildren, Heather Lockaby (Adam), Whitney Lockaby (Jake), Nathanial "Cade" Lockaby; 4 great-grandchildren, Erica, Dakota, Jacob, and Morgan; a brother, Kindred "Kip" (Kathleen) Lockaby; and 3 sisters-in-law, Henrietta, Edith, and Wilma Lockaby. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte "CJ" Lockaby; his parents; 7 brothers, Estill, Silas, Earl, James, Zenith, John, and Eugene; and 2 sisters, Pauline and Phyllis. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Randy Sapp officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, Keavy, KY on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
