Herbert Ferguson:
I am glad we had a talk Dad and I pray that you are peaceful now and I know that you are no longer in pain. Life has a strange way of letting us know what the real truth is and what is a lie. I have been experiencing this and I know that you have been experiencing this too. I shall miss you and I shall always be grateful for the time we had to talk. See You in Heaven Dad.

My Loving Cousin Herb:
I have so many fond memories of you during my growing up years and my adult years. I will never forget how excited I was to always see you & the family coming to War Creek to our farm. It truly was the hi-light of my summers. I always looked up to you and I'm grateful for times we got to talk with each other. You were a 2nd dad to me and especially Richard while he lived in Middletown. You never failed to open your heart and home to us and we'll never forget all the wonderful meals you prepared. You took your cooking serious and each time we ate a meal with you it was a treasure. I'm so happy you and Ruie celebrated your 50th wedding ansy., at War Creek @ my home church of Bethany. A wonderful surprise from all of us and Ida Jane.
Please tell Aunt Mandy, Aunt Myrtle hello in heaven for me. Those two wonderful Aunts and you/your family were my mentors and gave me encouragement to work hard and make a difference for myself.
On behalf of the Lacy & Moore Family, We love you and thank-you for being in our life and loving us. You will be greatly missed all the days of our lives.
