Homer Hacker Obituary
News Death Notice
HACKER, Homer age 75, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 29, 1936 in Manchester, KY to Frank and Della (Hollen) Hacker. He served our country in the US Navy during peacetime with an honorable discharge. He was a supervisor in the finishing department for Beckett Paper in Hamilton for 33 years and clubhouse supervisor at Weatherwax Golf Club for 18 years. Homer's love of family, golf and his golfing friends were very important to him. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Homer is survived by his wife, Polly Hacker; children, Sandy (Steve) Simpkins, David (Diane) Hacker, Doug (Caroline) Hacker, Susan (Rob) Herrmann; grandchildren, Brian (Kristen), Chris (Leeann), Ethan, John Henry, Anna, Kai, Claire, Daniel and Alex; brothers and sister, Julius Hacker, Vivian Langdon, Arnold Hacker. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held privately for the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1001 Grove Street, Suite 800, Middletown, OH 45044. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.

Polly, I went to Clay County High School with Homer; he was a very nice person and a gentleman then and I'm sure he always were to all who knew him. May he rest in peace and God Bless you and yours.

Homer was my best friend from childhood, through high school and on.
We played together on the Trenton basketball team and run around together as teenagers. He had a great smile and everyone liked him. Will
