Hyman BAKER Obituary


News Death Notice

BAKER, Hyman Eugene age 77, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 3, 1935 to John Carl and Prudie (Gibson) Baker in Middletown, OH. Gene served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Middletown Board of Education for 30 years, before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Opal Noble, Nora Allen, and Mildred O'Neill; and a brother, Carl Baker, Jr. Hyman is survived by his sisters, Faye Baker and Lyda M. Banks and his nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Alternate Solutions and their staff, including: Sarah Groves, David Collins and Mary Smith and his special neighbors, Ron & Cheryl Stewart. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 5-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held also at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:00 am with Reverend Michael Hay officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Memorial Contributions may be made to P.A.W.S. or the V.F.W. in Middletown.
