I helped take care of Mr.Goodman in his last few weeks. He was a kind man with alot of will power. I was fortunate enough to meet his daughter who was the sweetest lady I have ever met. It brings me great sadness to see him go but he is in God's hands now and I am sorry for the loss.

Sympathies to the extended Goodman family. I worked for Knight Goodman from 1976 to 1980 and for several summers before that when I was in graduate school. He took a chance on someone who had no training in either advertising or public relations and taught me a great deal about both fields as well as a lot about effective writing, politics, and about Middletown, a community he loved a great deal. In fact, I often quote him when I am teaching my students at Georgia Tech how to communicate effectively.

He was both a good man and a Goodman and will be sorely missed by the community that he loved.

To the Goodman Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of a bigger than life man. How does one pack into a lifetime all of his accomplishments? We never new Mr. Goodman only of him but he had our respect and admiration for the example he set forth for all. He was a true role model and a civic leader above and beyond.
Thank you Mr. Goodman for your tireless efforts and the good you did in your lifetime. May you have a well deserved rest in peace.
