Jack TINCHER Obituary


News Death Notice

TINCHER, Jack L. Jack L. Tincher, son of Mary Hays and James H. Tincher passed away March 30th, 2013. He was married to his best friend Carol Siegle for sixty two years. Jack was best known as a long time Oxford businessman who owned and operated IGA grocery stores in Oxford and Fairfield, Ohio for forty years. Past Oxford citizen of the year, Jack served his community on the Talawanda school board for over tweleve years. He leaves behind him three sons, Jack Randall of St Louis, Kevin Brent, and Marc Alan both of Oxford. He also leaves four grandchildren Dustin Ross Tincher, Ashley Brynne Tincher Ketner, Jack Randall Tincher and Gabrielle Suzanne Scout Tincher all of Oxford. He also leaves great grandsons Tristan Nicholas and Jackson Rhys Tincher. He was preceeded in death by his wife Carol as well as his son Phillip Scott. Jack was an outstanding son, husband, father, and friend. Memorial contributions can be made to Kramer Elementary School, 400 W. Sycamore Street, Oxford, Ohio 45056.

It was such a privilege to have been friends with Jack Tincher. He brought so much to everyones' lives with his wit, humor and kindness. The love and loyalty that he showed for his family and others was unsurpassed. What a great example he was of how we should live our lives. He will truly be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

Just want family to know how sorry we are about Jack I met him as alittle girl he and the Mandell family were friends that friendship lasted his life time... when Harry and I married and moved back to Oxford so Harry could help his Dad farm Jack gave Harry a part time job at grocery plus bought produce from us may he rest in peace and may his family know what a great guy he was..
