SCHUL, Jason T. SCHUL, Jason T. Age 36, of Eaton, Ohio died unexpectedly Feb. 12, 2007. He was born January 26, 1971 to Homer L. and Paula (Blaylock) Schul in Middletown, Ohio. He worked as a machinist at General Motors. He graduated from Preble Shawnee High School in 1989 and Culver Military Academy in 1987. He was in the U.S. Navy for 7 years with 4.0 Evals Rank E-5, he received National Defense Metal/ Kuwait Liberation Medal/ Southwest Asia Service Metal with Bronze Star/ Sea Service Deployment Ribbon/ Battle E Ribbon/ Expert at Arms/Navy Unit Commendation/ EAWS/QUAL 93 May 20/ First good conduct Award/ 1991/Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist/Theodore Roosevelt Air Carrier CVN-71/Co MNAVAIRLAN Battle Efficiency award/Jet aircraft mechanic and Instructor/Inspector/Operation Desert Shield - Operation Desert Storm/three months in combat zone Iraq Operation provide comfort and no fly zone Bosnia.He was a member of Stubbs Road Church, and U.A.W. color guard. He was preceded in death by his father in 1985, grandparents, Robert L. and Delores O. Roberson, Homer L. and Flora Schul, uncles, Marvin E. and Steven L. Schul. He is survived by parents, Paula (Jim) Miller of Eaton, Ohio; sons, Damon Michael and Jared Levi Schul of Franklin, Ohio; daughter Makayla Lynn Schul of Franklin, Ohio; brothers Jacob (Janet) Schul of New Paris, Ohio, Eddie Miller of Riverside, Ohio and David (Krista) Miller of West Alexandria, Ohio. Sister, Terri Schul of NC; aunts, Linda (Clay) Lawson, Linda (Bill) Johnson, Irma (Charles) Carroll and Rita Perry; special great aunt and uncle, Haven Patricia and Edgar Lawson and numerous cousins. Visitation will be Monday February 19, 2007 from 12 to 2 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be Monday, February 19, 2007 at 2 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with Dale Hall officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family of jason Schul. I worked with Jason at Delphi, master cylinder machining. I also served with Jason on the UAW 696 Color Guard. Jason always had a smile and a quick wit, for this made for a good friend. rest in peace JS.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Jason Schul. He was a friend of mine and I will remember him as being a true patriot who served our country selflessly, as well as a father who deeply loved and cherished his family. I was proud to serve on the UAW Local 696 Color Guard with Jason as well as work with him throughout his tenure at Delphi. Rest in peace Jason.
