I remember meeting Janet when we moved to Oxford 35 years ago, and being very taken by her warmth, her friendliness, her humor, her total lack of pretense and her playful, no nonsense attitude. Although, as the years went by, our paths rarely crossed it was always a treat for me when I did run into her because she was exactly the way I always remembered her. Please know I join all of you and the countless others in mourning your and Oxford's loss. She was a treasure.

Marvin and family-It is with sincere sympathy that I learned of Janet's passing. A kind, lovely lady who had an infectious smile, who took time to show kindness and friendship to my Mother (Erma McCreary). She was an angel to our Mother and we were so very thankful for her. I can imagine Mom and Janet swinging under a big tree in heaven visiting with each other once again. May peace be with you and your family and may your fond memories of your lovely wife and Mother stay with you always.
