RAMEY- MASTON, Jeryl "Jerrie/Pooh Pooh" Departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2017 after a lengthy illness. She was born August 2, 1943 in Homer, Louisiana to the late Lillie and Ivory Wade. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Maston and brother, Jesse Wade. She was educated in the public schools of Homer and had been a resident of Dayton, Ohio for 57 years. She worked for Dayton Public Schools and retired after 40 years of services. Jerrie was baptized at an early age at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Homer, Louisiana and later joined Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. Jerrie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She loved watching "her babies", as she affectionately referred to them the "Pittsburgh Steelers," as well as the Los Angeles Lakers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and dancing. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Cecil Ramey of 47 years; devoted sons, Robert (Toni Mitchell) Maston, Jr., Eric (Felicia) Maston, Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Maggie Wright and Phyllis Howard of Homer LA; brothers, James M. Wade of Dayton, OH, Curtis R. Wade and Ivory D. (Carol) Wade of Homer LA, sister-in-law, Francis Wade, brother-in-law, Charles (Bobbi) Ramey of Dayton, OH and (3) great-grandchildren and host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., SATURDAY, September 23, 2017 at MT. ENON BAPTIST CHURCH, 1501 W. Third St., with Pastor Cory J. Pruitt, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Shiloh Park Cemetery.
