My deepest sympathy to all of the Usrey family. I knew John as a neighbor in Fairfield. Many years after moving away I saw him in the Mason Post Office and he remembered me. He made my trips to the Post Office more enjoyable, just seeing a familiar face and saying Hi!

I met John at Gateway Church many years ago. I was saddened to see him called home so early but I know today he is rejoicing with our Lord. He was a sweet man who touched many lives.

I worked with John many years ago at the Bonanza Steak House in Fairfield. I was trully shocked to see such a good guy taken at a young age. I remember John as a very gentle man and a servant of our Lord. John's family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Winnie, Susanne & family:
A few miles and many years have separated us but you have always been close in my heart. At this moment, I'm stunned to read of John's passing but I will always have wonderful memories of the years we all spent together at the Fairfield Church of Christ. My deepest sympathy & love to you all at this most difficult time.

"Elvis has left the building." As a co-worker, I know he will be missed at the Mason Post Office. Live each day as it is your last. May God Bless and watch over John.

What can I possible say? John was an awesome talent and a true friend. I learned so much from him both on stage and in life. I have no doubt that right now he is singing on the grandest stage of them all. My love to Winnie, Martha, and all of the family. We miss you John!
