Family-Placed Obituary

SCHMIDT, Joseph J. Age 50, a longtime resident of Morgan Township passed away suddenly March 22, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born on December 29, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Herman and Kathryn (Gabbard) Schmidt. He was employed at Pierre's Frozen Food in Tri County. He is survived by two children, Kelly Schmidt of Boise, Idaho and Robert Schmidt of Cincinnati, Ohio; one granddaughter, Makayla Schmidt; one brother Gene Schmidt and one sister Joyce Castille both of Southern California. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Katherine Schmidt. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius Church in Shandon on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road (St. Rt. 128) Ross, Ohio on Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

Kelly and Bobby,
I know you have heard it probably more than what you wanted to, but I am so very sorry for you loss. I can't say I know how ya feel, but I understand what you are going through. I love you both so much and I am always gonna be here for you. If there is anything ya need, I am here...Love you both!
