Family-Placed Obituary

SCHOMAKER, Joseph J. Age 78 of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati on Friday, December 22, 2006. He was born on March 14, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Graf) Schomaker. He married Dorothy Burwinkel and together they farmed in the Ross area for many years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Schomaker of Colerain Township; two sons, Joseph and Thomas (Melissa) Schomaker; five grandchildren, Dr. Deanna Caminiti, Joseph Schomaker IV, and Kara, Ryan, and T.J. Schomaker; three great grandchildren Ethan Schomaker and Dean and Alex Caminiti; three sisters Cleta Hermann, Betty Rieman, and Elva Brunner; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Schomaker. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Dry Ridge Road on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. If desired, memorials may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
