News Death Notice
JACKSON, Kathleen Kay "Katey" Age 29, of Trenton, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1985 in Middletown and lived in this area all her life. She graduated from Madison High School Class of 2003. She was employed at J.E. Root Beer Stand from the ages of 14 to 18 years old. She was a STNA while studying to be a nurse at Miami University, Middletown. Katey was a member of the Camden V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Preceding her in death were her father, Robert M. Jackson, Jr.; her maternal grandmother, Gloria Inez Brown; her paternal grandparents, Kathleen and Robert M. Jackson, Sr.; and her paternal uncle, Thomas Masterson. She is survived by her mother, Susan Jackson; one brother, Matthew David Jackson; maternal grandfather, Francis Eugene Brown; maternal uncle, Thomas (Jane) Brown; maternal aunt, Carol (Jerry) Roberts; paternal uncles, Rick (Tina) Jackson and Mike Jackson; paternal aunt, Mary Jackson; and many special cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Tuesday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Monroe First Church of God, 100 East Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050 with Pastor M. Scott Barger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio 45044, who is serving the family. Susie, what can I say? I can't believe it! Katie was a fighter! She fought an unbelievable fight!
She was such a blessing to so many people!
I watched her grow up! I am not suppose to go to her funeral!

I am so sorry for your loss Susie. You are in my thoughts and prayers. There will forever be a place in my heart for our Katey Kay. I am going to miss all the fun times we have had over the years with her, her laughter and being Chris' co-pilot!! He misses her very much as well. Sue, I am so very sorry! Katey was such a special person. If the rest of the world could have her outlook on life and laugh half as much as she did it would be a better place to live. Katey is in a better place, making Heaven even more beautiful with her smile. Find comfort in the Lord's love as you struggle through this. I don't know if I ever told Katey this, but I loved her.
