Family-Placed Obituary
HOSKINS, Leon Age 76, of Springboro passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Hospice Of Dayton. Leon was born in Middletown the son of Morris and Mary Susan (Childress) Hoskins and resided in Franklin for many years. Leon retired after 34 years as a Supervisor at DP& L in Dayton. He held the commission of Kentucky Colonel since 1990 and he was an avid golfer belonging to the Seniors Golf League at Weatherwax for several years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary; children, Kevin Michael (Pamela Sue) Hoskins of Springboro, Kathy Lynn (Denzel) Beggs of Warrenville, IL Ronda Kay Dezarn of Centerville, Scott Ann (Greg) Lane of Waynesville and Tamara Jean (Dwaine) Kidder of Springboro. He also leaves his grandchildren, Brandon Hoskins, Jerrod Hoskins, Tia Jean Harty (Mike), Kristen Jean Kidder, Erica Jean Kidder, Ryan Dwaine Kidder, all of Springboro, Danielle Nicole (William) Foss, of Council Bluffs, IA, Katrina Marie (Mark) Jordi of Bellingham, MA, Julie Lynn (Patrick) Burke of Hopedale, MA, Jennifer Kay (Kevin) Sizemore, of Franklin, Carrie Ann Wills of Waynesville, Cynthia Kay (Jeff) Payne of Dayton, and great grandchildren, Jeffery and Gregory Payne of Dayton, Olivia and Aidan Sizemore of Franklin, Ashton and Katie Burke of Hopedale, MA, Josiah Foss of Council Bluffs, IA, Nathan Jordi of Bellingham, MA; sisters; Almeda Robinette, Martha Parrett, and Joeanne Hoskins of Middletown and his brothers, Richard (Marianne) Hoskins of Middletown and Ward Hoskins of Tucson, AZ. Leon leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends he made while attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Graveside services will be Monday 10:00 am at the Springboro Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.andersonfuneralhomes.com. Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro serving the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Oh 45420.

Wish we could have been able to make the trip to Ohio. We will miss Leon very much, but know that someday we will see him again when we get to heaven. We will miss the trips to The Houston for dinner. I will always remember that he told me that I was his favorite uchre partner.(Even thought I know he didn't mean it).
