Family-Placed Obituary


COBB, Lorene Age 83 of Middletown passed away January 29, 2006 at his residence. He was born December 17, 1922 in Tallassee, Alabama to the late Ned and Viola Bentley Cobb. He was married for 63 years to Inell Cobb whom he affectionately called "Jack Rabbitt". To this union six children were born. He retired from Armco Steel Company after 37 years of service. Lorene was an avid fisherman, hunter and a lover of gardening. He loved his family. He loved people and was well loved by many. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Inell; his children, Lowvelle (Yvonne) Cobb of Franklin, OH, Betty (Frank) Arrington, Ralphine Cobb, Eddie Charles (Karen) Cobb, Ernestine (Enoch) Watkins, Larry (Theresa) Cobb and an adopted son, David Riley, all of Middletown, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Claudia Mae Hutchinson of Nashville, N.C. and Emma Lee May of Chattanooga, TN; one brother, Carlton Cobb of Tallassee, AL; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 11AM at Second Baptist Church, 116 N. Verity Pkwy. Funeral service following at noon, with Rev. N.L. Cooper officiating. Interment Butler County Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hall-Jordan & Pretty Memorial Chapel, 918 S. Main Street.
