Family-Placed Obituary
LANGWORTHY, Marie P. Age 81, a resident of Franklin, Ohio and formerly of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Sycamore Hospital. Marie was born on November 20, 1925 in Big Hill, Kentucky to the late H. Earl and Katie (Alexander) Powell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Powell and Nancy Lamb. Marie is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Joe) Sweeney of Middletown; one son, Steve (Mary) Langworthy of Dublin, Ohio; two grandsons, Bryan (Angie) Langworthy of Mt. Clemens, Michigan and Toby Langworthy and fiancé Margaret Whiteford of Mason; one great-grandson, Paul Langworthy; stepmother, Geneva Powell of Germantown; two step-grandchildren, Daniel Knauf of Chicago, Illinois and Andrea Allen of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and dear friends, Dorothy Rose and Yutha Hayes. Marie was a member of the Breiel Blvd. Church of God and was general manager of Vic Canever Chevrolet in Fenton, Michigan where she kept active until the time of her death. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 from the GEBHART- SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Pastor Eric Newell officiating. Interment Hillgrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until time of services. The family suggests contributions be made in Marie's memory to the Breiel Blvd. Church of God or to the Diabetes Foundation.

We at Vic Canevers always called her mother marie. she was able to look out her little office and see everything that was going on in the service dept. She kept a very watchful eye on everything going on around her. She and I go back a long time, since the early 70s. she will be greatly missed by many of us who worked at the dealership. I love you Mother marie. chuck
