Dear Roe,
I am very sorry I cannot make it to pay my last respects. I hadn't seen in you person for nearly two years, but I remember our last visit very well. You were very encouraging and had a lot of faith in me, more then others did. Or to say, yours seem sincere. I think you were very honest with yourself, if not others, about who you were and what you represented. Not many people can say that about themselves. I'll end with a quote from a thoughtful man for a thoughtful man:
"A life unexamined is not worth living." Socrates
I believe you thoroughly examined and lived your life by throwing caution to the wind and living without regrets. Though a difficult life that is, you always managed to turn a frown into a smile whenever I was around. I appreciated it more then you'll ever know. I wish I could be there to lay a yellow roses down in your honor, for yellow represents sympathy. And a red rose, for it represents passion. Farewell.
