News Death Notice
ALLEN, Martha B. 89 of Eaton, OH, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Knolls of Oxford. Born February 9, 1923 in Liberty, Kentucky daughter of the late Samuel & Mary (Barlow) McFarland. Martha enjoyed reading and a current member of Oxford Baptist Church and former long time member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. Preceded in death by husband of 60 years: Wade Allen in 1999; daughters: Mary Allen in 1943 and Margie Cottingim in 2006; son: Frank Allen in 2001; brothers: Woodrow, David and Leo McFarland and sisters: Viola Edwards, Verna Coffman, Nettie Tapscott, Rose Vivien and Ollie Gibson. Survived by her sons & daughters-in-law: Ronnie & Donna Allen of Goldsboro, N.C., Gary & Carol Allen; Jerry & Linda Allen and Rudy & Judy Allen all of Hamilton, OH; Daughter & sons-in-law: Hazel & Stan Andrew of Palm Harbor, Fl; Carol & Lee Montooth of Eaton, OH; Teresa & Steve Hughes of Liberty, IN and Leisa & Mike Kloss of Eau Claire, WI.; Brothers: Watson McFarland of Liberty, KY; Paul (Alta) McFarland of Stanford, KY; sister: Ruth Wethington of Indianapolis, IN. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Oxford Baptist Church 4111 Trenton-Oxford Road (SR 73) Oxford, Ohio. Funeral services 11:00 A.M Friday, February 1, 2013 at First Southern Baptist Church 35 North Liberty Street Camden, Ohio with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment Fairmount Cemetery Camden, Ohio. Memorial contributions to Gideon's International - Preble County Chapter - P.O. Box 141 Eaton, Ohio 45320.
