Melinda Kay ARMBRUSTER

1944 - 2017

ARMBRUSTER, Melinda Kay 72 of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 7th surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 4, 1944 in Middletown to Eugene "Spec" & Martha Lorraine (Tudor) McGraw. Melinda was co-owner and worked alongside her late husband, Jim Armbruster in the family business at Armbruster Florist Inc. for over 40 years. She was active with the Middletown Area Foundation of Women's Clubs, Beta Kappa Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and The Middletown Charity Ball. Melinda had a keen sense of humor and a great love for children and the Middletown community. Melinda is survived by her sons, Matthew (Rachel) Armbruster and James (Suzie) Armbruster II; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Emmanuel, Tanner, Maxwell, Jimmy III and Madison Armbruster and her brother, Jeff (Janice) McGraw. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Armbruster; her daughter, Tracy Anne Armbruster and her brother, Kerry McGraw. A Receiving of Friends will be on Tuesday, May 16th from 5:00 7:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm with Father John Civille officiating.
