Family-Placed Obituary
GORDON, Michael D. Age 51 of Somerville, passed away Thursday morning, September 8, 2005 in the Middletown Hospital Emergency Room. He was born in Middletown on September 5, 1951, a son of Harry and Helen (Draeger) Gordon, and worked in Transportation Trucking at AK Steel. He was an outdoorsman and fisherman, and loved boating; he also was a handyman who enjoyed working around his house. Mr. Gordon is survived by two daughters, Abbi and Lora; two half-sisters, Barbara Buchanan of Middletown, and Betty Zechman of Lincolnton, Georgia; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Gayle Lefferson Gordon; his dog, Bailey; and lots of friends. His parents preceded him in death, as did his brother, Ralph Gordon, and his half-brother, Clinton "Butch" Gordon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13 at 10:00 A.M. at the Breitenbach-McCoy- Leffler Funeral Home, with Pastor Lamar Farrell officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
