News Death Notice
SCHIERING, Michael A. "Mick" age 75, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Monday July 8, 2013 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on April 27, 1938 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of Arnold and Hazel (Seward) Schiering. He was educated in the Hamilton public schools and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1956. He served in the U. S. Navy. He was a bus driver for Fairfield City Schools retiring in 1994. He was a member of Disciples Christian Church, Fairfield Eagles #3680, Am Vets #071 and VFW #1069. He is survived by his grandchildren Richard "Ryan" Hood, Sara Wilke, Tricia Blevins, Michael Withrow, Carolane Withrow, Katlyn Schiering and Ricki Schiering; sisters Jenny Klingel and Tammy (Don) Gross; also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his life companion Carol A. Boggs in 2009, daughter Constance A. Withrow and son Richard M. Schiering. Funeral Services will be Friday July 12, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Unit in Mick's memory. You never ceased to amaze me. I love you so much Grandpa and I am so thankful for the things that you taught me. I admire you and never got the chance to tell you that. I hope i can keep making you proud. say hi to dad for me.

Dad,
You were such a spit fire. Always knew how to make everyone around you laugh - you endurance in life was amazing and it was something I always admired. To have lived the life you did and counted every blessing, even if it was with your halarious sarcasm you are loved by everyone who knew you. Give Rick a big hug from the girls and I and we love you bunches.
