News Death Notice
GRIMES, Polly Marie age 73 passed away on March 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1940 in Breathitt Co., KY to Roger and Hallie Herald. She married James S. Grimes in Jellico, TN on January 12, 1957. Polly was the beloved wife of the late James S. Grimes; loving mother of Stephen (Kimberly) Grimes; dear grandmother of Matthew , Amanda, and Adam Grimes; Jeremy, Rachael, and Michael Taylor; and Amanda Krimmer; dear sister of Charlie (Jane) Herald, Roscoe Herald, Charleen Allen, and Charlotte (Roger) Blevins. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter Glenda Sue. Visitation will be Friday March 29, 2013 from 11-12 at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
