wow...this is pretty amazing, to say the least. as Randy's oldest son, i must sincerely thank every last one of you for leaving comments. i was always astonished by how many people my dad knew, but it never really hit me until last night at the visitation. there were literally hundreds of people that came to pay respects...i just can't think of words to describe how honored i am to have that many people care about my dad and his family. again, thank you ALL.

I was a classmate of Randy's at Roosevelt Jr. High School. I didn't know him real well, but I do remember him as being a very kind and gentle person. I enjoyed reading about his accomplishments in the paper over the years. I truly am saddened to hear of his passing and offer his family my deepest sympathy.

Carol and boys--I hope you can realize the amount of love and condolences that go out to you now. There is nothing anyone can say to make the pain go away but know that our prayers are with you. If you will trust Him, our Lord will help you through this. That is the only way we got through it. If you need to get away, just give us a call and you have a free place to stay. We wish we could do or say something more but just know that we are sending our thoughts and prayers. Hang in there. Love Bob and Phyllis
