Rudd, founded and served this church for a number of years before going to Big Stone Gap, VA. to pastor the Cadet First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mervin D. Rudd, infant son, Gary, her sister, Olive Oditt, and her brother, Ollie Byrd. Survivors include her sons, Harold (Joan) of South Lebanon, Michael (Cindy) of Wilmington, and Larry (Debbie) of Lebanon. Other survivors include her six grandchildren, Chad (Alicia) Rudd of Ocala, FL., Alyssa (Frank) Gibson of South Lebanon, Rebecca (Mark) Carter of San Diego, CA., Tara Wood of Cincinnati, Brian (Carmen) Rudd of Morrow, and Andrea (Nick) Maggard of Hebron, KY. She leaves behind her twin sister Treva Vance of Harrison, OH., her eldest sister Vanita Centers of Lebanon, and sister in law Mae Byrd of Kings Mills. Mrs. Rudd was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, as well as two very special nieces, Phyllis Oditt of Hamilton and Anna Cope of Maineville. She is also survived by three special brothers in law, Garland, Odus, and Otis Rudd. A special thanks goes to the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center at Kings Mills. Visitation will be held at the First Church of God, 325 Pleasant Drive, South Lebanon, on Saturday March 10, 2012 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon. Memorials requested to the First Church of God, South Lebanon or to the National Kidney Foundation. I had gotten to know Reva about 5 years ago and used to love hearing her stories while sitting with her for a couple hours every week...I often have wondered how she was doing as I would drive past her house. She was a wonderful lady. I know she is in a better place with her dear husband of whom she always spoke. Sadly missed, but happy for her as well....she was ready....Prayers of comfort for the family.
