Family-Placed Obituary


BOLES, Steven Lee Age 46, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 13, 2004. Born in Blytheville, Arkansas, on December 11, 1958, he was the son of John and Garnetta (Bankston) Boles. He was a 1977 graduate of Talawanda High School, played football and was an avid sports enthusiast. Steven was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he ranked 10th out of a class of 140 in the military police training at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Steven enjoyed bicycle riding, the outdoors and reading. He was employed as a security specialist with Government Security Building. Steven is survived by his mother, Garnetta Boles of Hamilton; daughter Kaitlin Boles of Hamilton; brother Dennis Boles and his wife Tracy of Millville; very beloved niece and nephew, Tara and John Steven Boles; and very devoted friends, Walt and Lana Philpot. In 1980, Steven was preceded in death by his father, John Boles. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, on Monday, January 17, 2005, at 11am with Pastor Walt Philpot officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 10-11am at the funeral home. The family wishes to express special thanks to all those who cared for Steven during his illness. Memorial contributions are suggested to Freedom Chapel, 117 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013.
