News Death Notice
GILLESPIE, Tammy G. Jackson age 45, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Atrium Medical Center where she had been a patient for eight days. She had suffered a lengthy illness. She was born August 13, 1963 in Middletown and lived here all her life. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Elite and Rosie Hall; her paternal grandparents, Guy and Madge Jackson and a brother-in-law, Dale Little. She is survived by one son, Ryan Jackson, Middletown; one daughter, Paige Stacy, Middletown; three grandchildren, Alihya, Jayze and Reanna; her parents, Robert and Shirley Jackson, Middletown; one brother, Tim Jackson and fiancée Mary DePellegrini, Middletown; one sister Teresa Little, Middletown; two nieces, Kelli and Jay Zimmers, Trenton, and Sarah Jackson, Florida; one nephew, Tim Jackson, Florida. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her children in care of Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio 45044.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tammy and I were friends back in elementary & middle school, I have very fond memories of her and will cherish them dearly. Although it has been many years since I have seen Tammy- I can still see her sweet smile like it was yesterday...Rest in Peace Tammy.

Tammy, I was very shocked to hear from Debi that you have found your way to heaven so young. You were a great friend and we had alot of great times at the Faucett & in Mayfield. I will always remember your contagious laugh and all those fun times!

Tammy and I were great friends during my teen years. I spent many weekends at Rosie's. She always kept us fed. I remember cruising the streets of Mayfield, listening to the Doors, walking along I-75 when her car broke down and Shirley picked us up and dropped us off at the Faucett. Bumper riding down the streets in the early morning hours in the middle of winter. There are so many memories. Tammy was so fun and sweet. Don and I met because of Tammy and have been together 28 years. Our anniversary is on Tammy's birthday. I was in total shock when the notice came up on classmates as I was just thinking about her. She is an angel in heaven now, she deserves peace. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family. Tammy touched a lot of lives. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Dear Family,
Please do not be sad, but happy, for she is with the best and no longer in pain. I know that is hard to understand now, but her smile is forever embedded in our hearts. We go so far back, and I could tell you so many happy memories about her days in Mayfield. God bless all of you, and know you are all in our prayers. Tami I am going to miss you girl, we have been friends since we were ten years old and had our matching orange 10 speed bikes. We grew up to be good parents and grand parents and I know you will continue to look over your kids & grandkids. I love you. I went to school with Tammy when I was younger. When we finished high school we lost track of one another. I moved to Las Vegas. I was shocked when one of my friends text me that lives in middletown and told me that Tammy had passed away. You all are in my prayers.

Iwas friends with tammy from the age of 13, she was a dear friend that i will forever miss. tammy shelly Howard and myself we thought we were the cutiest so we wanted to be best friends(13 yrs of wisdom) I spent alot of nights over and grandma always feed us well, her mother was always helping us with our problems and kind words.
