News Death Notice
SLOMISKY, Timothy J. age 38 of Brecksville, Ohio passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 8, 2012. He was born in Panama City, Florida on January 17, 1974 the son of Lloyd and Carolyn (Woods) Slominsky. Timothy was the owner/operator of Apex Fitness, LLC, and was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn (Phillip) Morrison of Hillsboro, Ohio; his father, Lloyd Slominsky of Raleigh, North Carolina; two brothers, Richard "Mike" (RaeAnn) Slominsky of Eglin AFB, Florida, and Douglas (Keyshia Flynn) Brewer of Columbus, Indiana; a sister, Jennifer (Lawrence) Vicarel of Hamilton, Ohio; grandfathers Ben Woods and Daniel Slominsky; three nieces, Brianna Vicarel, Regan Slominsky, and Gracie Brewer; two nephews, Jacob Vicarel and Reese Slominsky; his loving dogs, Sayble and Kramer. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Shirley Woods and Florence Slominsky; sister, Amanda Brewer; and niece, Destiny Vicarel. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Timothy J. Slominsky Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank. www.browndawsonflick.com

Timmy, I will greatly miss you! You were larger than life! You had an infectious laugh and a charismatic smile. You were so self-less, always putting others well-being before your own. Tim was a great guy who made many friends here in Cleveland. We will miss his kindness and his dry sense of humor.
