GRUBB, William A. Age 44 of Park Hills, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 6, 2006 in Kenton County, Kentucky. He was born August 24, 1961 in Middletown, Ohio to Cecil and Mildred (Birch) Grubb. He was a catalogue manager/graphic artist for 10 years with Davitt and Hanser. William was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, DeLinda Haney-Grubb; daughter, Alisson Grubb of Middletown, OH; brothers, Charles (Debbie) Grubb of Trenton, OH and Richard Grubb of Florida; sisters, Bette Ruth Delcorps of WI and Dollie Corwin of WI; 3 nephews, Chris, Todd and Chad. A receiving of friends will be Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 5:30 to 6:30 at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 6:30 with Rev. Jean Tyler officiating. Baker-Stevens Funeral Home is serving the family.

It's been over 25 years, and to this day I think of Bill every time I hear Cheap Trick or a song off of Some Girls. I know Bill from our church youth group. As I have thought back to those days a lot recently, I think every conversation I ever had with Bill ended with him making me laugh. My prayers are with Dee, Ali, Tracey, and Bill's family.

wow. billy... i first met you when we went on some outings together with mutual friends. you were a stranger for...oh, about 30 seconds before we were cutting up and having a laugh, then we talked extensively about our love for music. you are a great and very cool guy. i am sorry to see you go so soon. my thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. god bless. say hello to hendrix and company for me. rock on.

I worked with Bill at "the Sheen". I just loved him. Such a sweet man, very funny, had great music taste and such a talented artist. I am so so sad to hear about his passing. My thoughts are with his family.

I was heartbroken to hear of one of my best childhood friends had past away. I loved Billy as my brother. We were the best of friends from kindergarden all the way through high school. I'm very sorry for his wife and daughter. I can still see Billy's smile and the laughs we shared as we grew up together. He'll always live in my memories.

My prayers go out for the family and friends. Bill's memories will always last... from the college years when we met, the home projects of our years in Oakley & Norwood, to his visit in Seattle. He is above us now able to give us direction with the bigger picture of life in view. God Bless.

As the first wife of Bill and the mother of his child, I know first hand that he will be sadly missed by so many. Through the years, he remained a man of character and class. We have raised our daughter in the same fashion. I never stopped loving him and often turned to him for my own personal guidance. He never let me down. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Ali and myself. I only hope he is at peace and will "check in on us" from time to time.
