Anthony Joseph "Tony" Calderone

Anthony Joseph "Tony" Calderone was born in Tickfaw, LA, on September 17, 1945, to the late Vincent Dominick and Mary Valure Calderone. He passed away at his residence in Tickfaw, on November 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church and was the retired owner of several businesses in the Tangipahoa Parish area. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Holt Calderone; daughter, Donna Marie Edwards; sister, Frances C. Lemay; grandchildren, Toni Lynn Baiamonte and Justin Anthony Edwards; and a great-grandson, Dacota Anthony Baiamonte. In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Dominick V. Calderone, and his wife, Mary Ann; brother-in-law, Albert Lemay; niece, Melanie Lemay; and a great-niece, Marcy Lemay Jones. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA, on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Hanna, Christopher Lemay, Justin Edwards, Dacota Baiamonte, Vincent Baiamonte, and Vincent Calderone, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Taylor. Following the interment a reception will be held in the church parish hall.
