William John Muller passed away at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 27, 2025, at the age of 89. Billy was born on October 23, 1935, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
After graduating Ponchatoula High School in 1954, Billy enlisted in the United States Naval Training Center, Company 55-552 in San Diego, California for four years. Upon his return, he worked at Shell Chemical before starting his career as a land surveyor at Surveys, Inc and then co-owner of BFM Corporation.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cheryl Ryband Muller of Harahan, Louisiana. Daughter Pamela Muller Hernandez, only child to Billy and Helen Adams Muller, and her husband Brian of Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Three grandchildren, twins Brandon and wife Bridget, Morgan, and Julia. As well as extended family and friends that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathias and Mary Haight Muller, brother, Ronald Muller and sister, Mattie Lou Muller Schech.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 14th at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Hwy, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM with services at 11 AM followed by graveside services.
